Reality???

At the moment I do not watch any reality shows. The reason I do not do so is because I really don’t have time especially now that I am attending school. I did watch reality television when I had time and honestly those are my favorite kind of shoes because they really catch my attention for some reason. I like to watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Jersey Shore, and Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory. The reason why I like watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians is because it is interesting to see the way they live and how they treat each other and how they react to different situations they are put in. Jersey Shore is the show that I began watching because everyone knew about it and everyone watched it therefore everyone talked about it so I felt like I had to check it out. When I first saw the first show I was confused because I didn’t know who was who or what was going on but after a couple shows that I watched I caught up a little with what was going on and I began to like it myself because there is so much drama always going on and it keeps things interesting. Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory caught my attention because it is a reality show but it is slightly different than every other reality show. I think it is different because in this show it mostly focuses on Rob and his best friend and this show tends to have a point to what they do unlike others like Jersey Shore. The thing that I like about reality shows is that things happen that are totally unexpected and sometimes blows you away.
I think that these types of shows both harm and benefit the society of course depending on what show you are looking at. The shows that are or can be harmful to the society are shows where people act too much and do things that are way too crazy. Having things like that on public television may be harmful because a lot of young people watch these types of shows and they may not be as mature and they let it influence their life without them even realizing it. But there are also some reality shows that may actually benefit our society because some reality shows are about doing good things for other people and those are the things that can be even inspiring to some viewers and can cause them to want to do good things in life as well. To me watching reality shows Is something that I enjoy doing in my free time. Reality shows are also something I try to avoid them because I don’t like getting into them and then not being able to watch the next episodes and get behind and then miss out, which is the reason why I rarely watch the television at my house.

My History With Fast Food.

Fast food was never a big part of my childhood because my mom always liked to cook. She did so because that is how both of my parents grew up and they wanted the same for us. I think they also did it because they want us to be healthy so that later in life we won’t have as much health problems preferably any at all but of course that will only happen if we get really lucky because the chances of that happening are slim to none. Fast food was never a regular part of my childhood because we hardly ever went out to eat at fast food restaurants a reason behind that as well would be that we couldn’t afford to be going out to eat all of the time because we are a family of six and it is not very cheap to go even to a fast food restaurant and have to pay for six people even I agree on that. The only reason why it felt like a treat was because we never really got to eat there often therefore it was something that we found to be different than what we were regularly used to in our everyday lives. It was also a treat because we almost literally had to almost beg to go to Mc Donald’s or Burger King or any place simple like that. I remember that we would usually just go to Burger King because that is my mom’s favorite place because she likes the whoppers from there with the hot sauce inside them. It also became one of my favorites because I didn’t have many options to choose from. Even when we did go to fast food places we weren’t guaranteed the option to pick what we wanted to eat my parents would usually just order for us. At the time I never saw it as a bad thing because I didn’t really see anything as a bad thing at that time because I was so young. So I only thought of it as a regular food no different from what my mom made because it’s not really something that I craved because it is something that I wasn’t really used to getting all of the time.
Compared to my childhood I would say that I highly rely on it on a good and bad way. I rely on fast food financially because if it weren’t for fast food I would not be working where I am now, at Carl’s Jr. I also rely on it as food because as I have grown up a little and that I have gotten a little more independence I have grown to rely on it a lot. Because most of the days that I go to work depending on how many hours I work if I get a lunch break I do eat something because I have to and the employees get a fifty percent discount on meals while in work hours. This discount makes the food even more accessible than what it already is so it is easier to just eat there. The thing that I hate about fast food is that it is always so unhealthy. Even the things that look healthy like the salads are not very healthy. It is interesting how fast food has become from meaning almost nothing to me to becoming my provider in a way and I do try to stay away from having it all the time but it is sometimes inevitable
